The Galtres Bell Tent is an exclusive glamping site set within 50 acres of parkland on the Sutton Park Estate. Guests can enjoy a secluded experience within easy reach of local amenities. The site includes private shower, loo and well-equipped kitchen, as well as access to the grounds of Sutton Park for the duration of your stay.

Positioned 8 miles north of York, the site is the perfect base from which to explore North Yorkshire. York is one of Britain’s oldest and most beautiful Cities with a vibrant night life and restaurant scene, steeped in history and culture from the Minster to the Medieval city walls, York is not to be missed. If it’s nature you are seeking, the North York Moors National Park won’t disappoint! Head east and the North Yorkshire coast opens up in all its glory. From town to country, you can experience all the best the region has to offer.

PROVISIONS

For excellent coffee and all round delicious meals, Miss Daisy’s Tearooms is based on the Sutton Park Estate. The Rose & Crown in Sutton-on-the-Forest village serves great pub grub and only a 5-minute walk from the site. Essentials can be found in the neighbouring villages of Huby and Stillington, where there are two very good local shops, both with Post Office. We also encourage guests to help themselves to our produce in the orchards including fresh free-range eggs in the walled garden.
