Sutton Park was built in the 18th century by Thomas Atkinson for Philip Harland and is now the family home of Sir Reginald, the 8th Baronet Sheffield and his wife, Lady Sheffield. Sutton Park is proud to be awarded ‘Gold’ in the 2019 Yorkshire in Bloom awards.Visitors can enjoy our parklands at the following times:
1 May – 31 August inclusive 11am – 5pm. Last admission 4pm.
Sutton Park’s Grade 1 listed house is open on the following dates:
Bank Holiday Monday 6 May
1-28 June inclusive
Bank Holiday Monday 26 August
Heritage Days: 18 and 19 September
Guided tours at 1:30pm and 2:45pm. Pre-booking is strongly advised.
Open all year round by appointment. Minimum 15 persons. £8.50 per person
Electric buggy available for use in the gardens, pre-booking advisable. Disabled toilet in the grounds, limited access in the House
