Sutton Park was built in the 18th century by Thomas Atkinson for Philip Harland and is now the family home of Sir Reginald, the 8th Baronet Sheffield and his wife, Lady Sheffield. The house and grounds offer a wealth of architectural and artistic delights to enjoy. Come and experience this national treasure for yourself. Opening times and admission fees are found on this page.

Opening Days and Times 2020
Sutton Park is proud to be awarded ‘Gold’ in the 2019 Yorkshire in Bloom Awards. Visitors can enjoy our gardens at the following times:
1 May – 31 August inclusive 11am – 5pm. Last admission 4pm.
Sutton Park’s Grade 1 listed house is open for guided tours on the following dates:
Bank Holiday Monday 25 May
1-28 June inclusive
Bank Holiday Monday 31 August
Heritage Days: Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September
Guided tours at 1:30pm and 2:45pm. Pre-booking is strongly advised.
Open all year round by appointment. Minimum 12 persons. £9.00 per person.
Electric buggy available for use in the gardens; pre-booking advisable. Disabled toilet in the grounds. Limited access in the House.
